Thankyou for your responses. I have one of each mini-McCullochs. The Beaver performed very well until the CDI died so I compared the fuel flow with that of the Mac 110. They were much the same tho a little better for the Beaver. As the 110 was given me for it's ignition coil [unsuitable for the Beaver as the 110 has points] I worked my way thru a full check-up, found the fuel line was not connected, mixture screws incorrectly set, cleaned everything and it runs very well tho 2/3 as powerful as the Eager Beaver. They look close to identical and the same size otherwise. The fuel filter in the Mac 110 is very securely glued in place inside a tubular moulding formed in the bottom of the fuel tank. New McCulloch parts are not available here in New Zealand. Many thanks again for your answers. P. S. I am still looking for a CDI unit for the Beaver [chainsaw].
