Rear Abs warning light?

I had a problem with the abs system after replacing the disc pads, so I replaced the abs sensor and had the code cleared however after driving for a minute it came back on. Now when the abs light is on the braking system works correctly however if the light goes out it the brakes become juddery. any idea as to what could be the problem here?

do you mean rear pads?If so then it sounds like the caliper was'nt fully reset.start again.remove pads.disconnect hand brake cbl.reset caliper brake lever to fully off.wind in/back piston.fit pads then manually operate caliper lever till the pads touch the disc, lever should get continually less movement as u do this.reattach hbrake cbl.set handbrake lever adjustment to 5-6 clicks, then with thumb on buttonpull up lever and release several times.press hard on pedal several times and repeat hand brake procedure.readjust hand brake cble freeplay if needed.this should ballance out rear callipers and solve problem.it may need codes cleared again.
