Evelyn,
Definetly a head gasket, you'll need to get the head removed and flatness/pressure checked ( at garage cant really do this yourself )to see if it needs skimmed, which it most likely will if you've been driving around with it for a period of time, you'll need to flush the radiator, all coolant hoses and the heater matrix. Remove the hose highest on the engine ususally at the part where you top up coolant and the lowest usually at the bottom of the radiator, at the top hose try to jam a garden hose in and leave to flush until it runs clear this will take a while and make a hell of a mess so dont do it in your drive :) doing this will save you a bit of time/cash if you need to send it into garage.
Will update soon more details.
