Leisure Rangemaster 55 Grill problem?

Only a tiny flame despite knob being on fully open - is the regulator to blame and is it difficult to fit a new one please?

We have had problems with the grill and oven on this model for the last 5 years and had elements in both replaced several times - cost lots - time to buy a new cooker not this make!! Think Rangemaster have an inherent design problem here.
