I purchased a used refrigerator model #106 8628480 Kenmore Coldspot. Approx what year was this model put on the market? Also it seems like it is running all the time, but low amperage [3 amps] even tho the nameplate says the load amps. is 6.5 amps. It cools good and the freezer works great and quickly. Mainly I want to know when this was originally purchased. Thank you, Rob Lee
I have this model 106-8628480, here in a house I bought. If it helps, I bought the house in 1992 and the frig. had been used for a while. My best guess, it was built in 1990.
