How can I fix my BT Studio 3100 phone?

My son has pressed buttons on my phone and now both handsets are flashing BASE 1, there is no dial tone and I cannot use the phone. My internet is working, so I guess the lines in are ok. I cannot find the answer in the manual. I have tried registering the handsets but they keep flashing back to BASE 1.
