changed fuel filter now won't start?

changed the fuel filter on my 54 reg ford transit but now can't get it to start please help

this is a commen problem with the transit, both the above replys are good but if u still find it dosnt want to kick over then try tow starting it, 9 out of 10 times it`l go no problem

hi sounds like you didnt prime the system after fitting the filter. shouldn't be to much of a problem take the filter back off and fill it with diesel right to the top then refit it and the van should start after about ten seconds

sounds like an air lock
Dont Know anything about transits if they have a hand plunger in the fuel line.
Might have to open injectors Individually and turn over engine to purge system of air.
Sorry thats the only suggestion i can give.
