my car is renault scenic 2005 1.9dci my dash board started playing up,3to 4 times went on and of over a week or so, and now just wont come on at all, to top it off radio and indcastor donot work either,any help would be great,

Hi i have a 2005 scenic 1.9dci. the dashboard goes of and beeps all day. ive taken the plastic cover out and moved the plug which brings it back on, however my mileage went up from 38000 last mot in march 2011 to....wait for it....158000!

I have tried all the suggestions to get my Renault dash working and have had to resort to getting it fixed (more money!). The only saving grace is it cost me less than £150 as opposed to £700 as quoted by Renault! I don't understand how they are Renault are getting away with shirking their responsibility given how common the problem is. My godsend was Aaron on ebay (aarong06 07500 803768). I didn't even have to pay until it had been received and fixed. I feel it is only fair to share this info with others if only to stop Renault getting more money out of us all! Good luck everyone.

Indacators don't work + dash flashes & beeps. The beeping really drives you crazy!!!
Sounds like the same problem i had with my 2005 Megan dashboard. The Renault garage told me i needed a new Instrument panel at a cost of £450.
A man from the AA gave me a number of people who repair them with a years warranty. My wife's 03 Scenic is now doing the same thing, came on line to look for the address again, couldn't remember their name but "Luckaly" i remembered had the number in my phone as "Ren Man" 02871 301023.
