Try one to one and a half turns out from fully in. Carry out fine settings from there. You might also check the throttle stop screw is about half to one turn in from first contact with the throttle. Adjust idle mixture screw ( the one nearest the engine ) slowly one way then the other to get a reliable engine tickover and good pick up when the throttle is opened. The high speed mixture screw ( the one furthest from the engine ) really needs setting with the aid of a tachometer to give a maximum engine speed of 12500 rpm ( I think that is the correct speed for this model, but not certain ). The engine should at any rate be just "four -stroking" at full no load throttle.
