I know this topic is five years old but I have to add my two cents. Why on earth would anybody buy a Corsa B or C. If your ECU committing suicide isn't enough (or a bad earth... whatever) then you have the blandness and boringness of a vehicle created by a manufacturer that has always tried to out do Ford. The Fiesta has been the number one selling hatch pretty much since it came on the seen in the late 70s. You see more Fiestas on the roads than Corsas. And you see more Focus' on the road than Vectras. Take the Vaux Tigra, it may have came before the Puma but the Puma sold more between 99-02 (it was a MK5 Fiesta underneath) than Vaux EVER sold of their Tigra. Why? Because it drives better, looks better, is far more reliable, much better to look at and at least it isn't furnished like an old man's smoking room. Talking of the comparison between a smoking room and the Tigra, the only thing I could think of which would make the Tigra more bearable is a glass of brandy and a Cohiba to smoke.
