bt freestyle 2100 I get engaged tone instead of dialling tone so cannot use?

have tryed entering pin to revert to factory settings can anyone help please.

Just switch the base station off for around 5 seconds and this will reset the handset.

Hi my bt freestyle is the same as yours engaged tone and no dialing tone.
Did you get it sorted out,if you did could you tell me how to mend the problem.
