How can i fix the clutch slave cylinder on a ford galaxy n reg petrol?

My son has a petrol ford galaxy. the clutch slave cylinder is leaking, and needs to be changed. Is this possible with out removing the gear box

you annot replace or fix these units without removing gearbox,(stupid design),but these models are very easy to work on,and very straight forward,also you dont have to remove engine as it says in the haynes manuel,undo every thing connected to gear box,,with a jack supporting engine,then undo mounting thats under battery,then tilt engine by lowering jack until it wont lower any more,gearbox can then fit though gap,,,,,,,,,,,,,

Afraid not, it's bolted on to the inside of the bellhousing and the bolts are only accessable with the gearbox out
