car alarm keeps going off?

Just got a ford mondeo 1995 and the car alarm keeps going off, for no apparent reason and at no particular time interval. any ideas?

i had a 93 mondeo with the same problem, turned out to be the bonnet sensor!! (near the o/s headlight) easy to disconnect and problem solved!!!
