i need to remove the barrel from the lock on the rear door so i can remove the lock & the mechanism & reset a spring lever

where is the pin hole ford the cargo door on the transit im trying to add power locks on one but cant remove the lock I did the fronts and rear alredy can you help

Your Right it is darned fiddly- the key must however be turned clockwise not anti clockwise before the sprung plunger can be pushed into the body of the barrel via the little hole.

ONCE YOU HAVE REMOVE THE PLASTIC COVER, YOU SHOULD BE ABLE TO SLIDE THE HORSE SHOE TYPE CLIP THAT HOLDS THE LOCK MECHANISIM IN PLACE BUT DONT TRY AND REMOVE IT YET, WHAT YOU THEN NEED TO DO IS PUT THE KEY IN THE LOCK AND ON THE INSIDE OF THE DOOR ON THE ACTUAL BODY OF THE MECHANISM THERE IS A HOLE ABOUT 3MM IN DIAMETER, YOU NEED TO PUSH A VERY SMALL SCREWDRIVER OR HOOK TOOL THROUGH THIS HOLE WHILST TURNING THE KEY ANTICLOCKWISE, WITH A BIT OF WRIGGLING THE DAMN LOCK COMES OUT! FITTING IS THE OPPOSITE OF REMOVAL
