I have brand new GHD IV straighteners. I switched them on and got distracted and went to straighten my hair but they had gone off as they had been left unattended. It says if this happens just put the switch off and then on but they seem to be dead. Nothing happens. Can anyone advise me how to get them to switch back on please??? Thanks!

Try unplugging them from the mains. that could solve it.
