When i am driving in first gear bring it up to 2000 revs but the turbo doesnt kick in same in second gear and third it kicks in at about 3000 revs it takes a long time for it to get up to the revs......

this could be one of a few problems the most common is the air mass meter cost £80 fitting is easy, the second common is the turbo boost regulator valve cost £45 also very easy to fit, diagnosis is needed first and will save money in the long term. good luck
