The Atlantic 1919 case is open, spouse died with the 3 number code. Afraid to close it, or I may not be able to reopen. How do I change it?

if case is open, behind lock will be a small lever, this is used to reset the code, just pull it out, set the code you want, then release it

With a 3 digit code the numbers required will be 000 to 999,....ie 1000 different combinations.
Therefore just lock one catch and sit there trying these 1000 combinations methodically starting at 000 , 001 etc until you obtain the correct one.
I`ve done it more than once in the past...and it would take even longer with a FOUR digit code ...ie 10,000 combinations...but I`ve been successful with one of those as well....PATIENCE is the answer....ps..quite often these simple codes can be 000 or three more same digits...Good luck...and keep trying until you find it!
