Veritas Excel Transformer / Spares needed?

Hi,

my alarm control unit started buzzing and the following day the remote keypad started making its alarm sound. The keypad LCD showed no display and the alarm would not accept any codes.

The main box showed no power, then the bell boxes went off.

Eventually I got the main box case open and the mains fuse on the PCB had blown, blew again when replaced and then I noticed the mains transformer had melted its way free of the screw mounts. Hence I suspect it is knackered.

Does anyone know where I can get another transformer or is it simpler to get a new box and whip the transformer from that?

Thanks,
Chris.

Get yourself a new box, 50-60 pounds on the internet
