I have a samsung rs21dgrs American fridge freezer thats just 2 yrs old. The freezer is working fine but the fridge has stopped getting cold today. I have heard a scraping fan noise prior to it stopping working. Can anyone throw any light on it.
I have checked and the compressor and cooling fan for the compressor is working.
Maybe its the thermostat !

I had a similar fault with our fridge and plenty of engineers round replaced various parts which all proved useless however i managed to get hold of someone a company who service the london area www.agsrefrigeration.co.uk who came out and found and repaired the fault which all the others could'nt they were great and my fridge is still working three years on.

hi, i have the identical problem with the same model and age - i'm furious apparently it is the defrost sensor that is at fault - refrigeration engineer.com gave me the answer, search for noisy fan RS21DGRS. i've got to wait til my husband gets home!
