HANDBRAKE ON A PEUGEOT 306?

WHERE IS THE HANDBRAKE ADJUSTMENT ON A PEUGEOT 306 AND IS THERE MUCH ADJUSTMENT?.
CHRISWSTOKES2002, July 2008
There is a nut between a plate underneath the centre console behind the handbrale lever. If your handbrake is high your brake shoes might be getting low assuming its not the gti-6. I recommend that you check your brake shoes and wheel cylinders and replace if necessary. then adjust the handbrake inside the brake drums. and finally adjust the handbrake from inside the car.
