car will not start?

my o4 renault megane wont start.press start button and only a click noise is heard.radio and lights come on so dont think its the battery

sounds as if your battery is needing replaced, try jump starting with another vehicle, if it starts then all you need is a battery.

sounds like your generator/alternator. I am not a mechanic but this sounds like a similiar problem I have encountered. hope this helps.
