my power steering rack top pipe has a leak, is this replacable by an advanced diy man and if so how do i do it?

If it's in the "pipe"itself,My usual course is to remove and take pipe to "pirtek"or similar hydralic hose specialist.They can manufacture pipes and connections on site.Last one?IVECO power steering feed(messy)dealer?£30+,pirtek?£8.
