my escort 55 1.8 d has what appears to be electrical problem. the temp. gauge occasionally occilates between cold to normal to red sometimes when revved or in idle any suggestions?
check engine earth lead where it bolts to bell housing,try to move lead [even though bolt may be tight,it might not be fully clamping lead]if so it may have wrong bolt in ie-too long!
