I need to know the basic carburetter mixture settings for the Kawasaki TG 18 hedge trimmer. It appears to have two mixture setting screws marked L & H (presumably low & high) . I have not been able to track down a down loadable manual that covers this. Any advice please?

Hi my TG 18. Stopped in the middle of using it , it appears to be a petrol problem as when petrol is poured into the plug hole it tries to start is there a diaphragm. Or other part in the carbureter that could have gone , any ideas please

I also have a TG18 ( given to by a friend) The settings were also bad, (I have lots of exp in nitro engines) the two screws are the richness settings , and take messing around... The best thing to do is screw them completely in and then Make quarter turns on both screws till it has an attempt at firing, and then continue to find the best setting ( Mine was about Half way..) these engine go like scalded cats on a good adjustment

you can use the coil of "STIHL" chainsaws, just adjust the mixture to compensate for the difference in spark. You might also need to make a bracket to attach it

The motor is in perfect condition.
Where can i buy a used TG18 motor or a new one or just the coil.
