If you take off the cover you'll see a black box on your left, to the right of that is a white plastic 'plunger' with a spring on top. push the start button and start the shower, if the 'plunger does not immediately go down then the water pressure is no longer strong enough to force it down to engage the pressure switch which will in turn start heating the water.
If it doesn't go down you can use e.g. an electrical screwdriver and push it down, if the element starts to make a noise and heat the water then you know this is the problem. If the plunger does go down when you start the shower then the heating element may have gone. Other than that I'm unsure but please let me know what happened in the end... Regards. Marvin
