i have a murray petrol lawn mower with a centura engine, i can get it to to start but it cuts out after about 3 seconds, when i tickle the petrol through it again starts but cuts out this keeps happening every time
Sounds like fuel starvation. Clean the carb, paying close attention to the idle and main jets. Carbs can get gummed up if fuel has been left in them over winter so a good clean may well help.
