How can I fix my gas pilot light?

I have an Electrolux RM 4200 which refuses to light the pilot flame when the piezoelectric igniter is depressed as per instructions. Is it possible to look at the igniter mechanism in-situ? (Eriba Puck 230L)or can the fridge be pulled out easily to gain access. Gas is available to other appliances so I assume that the supply is OK. Quite simply - I can't get anyone to look at it at such short notice and we need to get away next week. Help! nick

If your pilot light will not light or stay lit and gas is going to the unit then the thermocoupling is bad. you should be able to get one at any hardware store, or an RV parts center. look in your local yellow pages for the nearest RV parts center or RV dealership. they should be able to help you with your problem.
