First, I'm a mechanical illiterate. That said, my mower starts after I push the bulb but dies out. I drained the gas, changed the oil, put in new plug, and made sure fuel line was clear. How specifically do I find where and how to get to the carburator as logic says that's probably the problem, right?

the float in the carb might be stuck especially if it had set up for awhile with fuel in it because the fuel turns into a laquer and clogs up everything ....pull air cleaner and carb will be under it ......proably needs a good cleaning ....
I had good luck with putting a fuel cleaner in tank and after you push primer and it starts keep pushing on primer to keep it running and it cleared up
