you need to go to auto zone and ask them for a book and code key it is free. use the code key to get the code for what ever the problem is. most GM cars have a unit under the dashboard which you put the code key into to bring pu the code for the system that is as they say throwing a code. if the people at the auto zone can't help you you should not delay! take your car to the nearest dealership and have it checked out.
