needles?

I was changing the needles on my brother lock 929D . For some reason I cant seem to get the new needles to go up and lock in. when I turn the screw the needle do not hold. What am i doing wrong?

check and make sure you are putting the needle in correctly. Most have a flat side that needs to be positioned correctly.
