The indicator light stays on my peugeot 206, it is a solid light no flash?

Anyone have any ideas on what to do? My left indicator sticks and now it won't go off - it is just a solid light and doesn't flash, the right hand one is fine. The left hand indicator light stays on even when the key is not in the ignition. Please help??
