I can't open the boot on my Peugeot 206?

The other doors open, but the boot won't. I have had a look from inside but cannot see any obstruction. It is a Peugeot 206 (LK52)

The lever/handle that you pull is just clicking, and the boot will not open. Is there any way of fixing it?

i have just bought a 206 sw quicksilver, it has the rear opening window within the boot lid, the boot lid opens fine but the window part doesnt, i have swapped the switches over and boot catches and they all work, so it just seems like there isnt any power to it. i have looked for a fuse but cant seem to find any info about this. any help would be great, thanks in advance

Can somebody teach me how to open the boot window? I have trouble to central lock my car yesterday. I also didn't realised that the boot window is openable.

This has happened to me twice, each time when trying to open the boot whilst pressing the remote control to unlock the car, it apparently makes the solenoid stick. The garage fixed it first time under warranty and the next time I left the radio on with the ignition on but engine off until the radio went off with the power saving mode kicking in. I then started the engine and when I later locked the car amazingly the boot freed itself. If that doesn't work then disconnect the battery for two minutes, reconnect it and that may work.

I have the 206 estate and didn't realise that the boot window could be opened which happened over the weekend and stopped me being able to open the boot or lock the car with the fob

Same problem on mine the hydraulic struts have gone apparently a common fault cost about £30 a pair plus cost of fitting
