Boot sector virus and hard drive clicking?

I have a 100 gig. W.D. hard drive. Got a message once saying I have a boot sector virus. Now my drive clicks and windows won't recognise it. My bios recognises it though and device manager recognises it. Any free downloads that will repair or rewrite the boot sector without losing all the data on the drive? THANKS
