MY hotpoint mistral fridge is not working - but the freezer is fine?

Hi there .. my hotpoint mistral fridge is not working - but the freezer is fine .. the evaporator fan is not running, and I have changed it - so its not the fan ! What else would stop this fan running. Thanks
