with my freshly skimmed head back on, timing belt on. I have realised that my crankshaft pully has no timing notch on it anywhere. how can i get over this (obtaining TDC No1)as i don't want to remove head again as i would need another set of bolts? thanks, des
thanks, with the crank pully removed, there is a machined slot on the shaft itself. Am i to presume this would be the mark to use. the belt has always been on.
I rushed to remove the head(my mistake) now i seem a bit stuck..

it might not be on the pulley ....it migh be on crank
How did you align timing belt
