Hotpoint Aquarius Ultima 1200 E15 Error?

I have an error which states "Check Outlet Pipe" and quotes E15 - what should I do ??

check that the outlet pipe isnt blocked put water in machine not to much just so you can see it in the drum then lower the pipe into a bucket if no water comes out theres a blockage
