I have just bought a Tecknika VGA webcam and headset (model: H16WC-01) and when installing the driver from the CD it gets to the final screen where I should be able to click on finish and I cannot see the screen to click finish. In task manager it appears to be there but there is nothing visible for me to click on to complete the installation, I have tried maximising and minimising from Task manager and there is an odd ghost movement of max & min but still no screen visible. I have tried deleting the folder it created in Program Files (had to delete as no program to uninstall) and tried installing again, the same problem occurred. Even tried downloading the software off Tescos website incase the driver I have is out of date but exactly the same problem occurred.
Any suggestions???

i download my technika webcam as it shows in the manual after instilistation i restart my computer just in case then when i go on msn it works while i call someone then just goes gray my audio works but on other chat things it works then just frezzes help pleas

Donwloaded the drivers, had teh same issue when installing as i did with the auto run feature and the driver setup.exe from teh disk.installation does not finish.

i had the same problems with the technika webcam and headset. The driver would not download. After finally running a driver detector, i found out that 12 of my drivers were out of date and 3 were missing...As im running XP home edition, i loaded the reboot disc, restarted my comp and pressed F12 to boot menu...I then found out that part of my windows program was damaged so i totally erased the partion it was on and reload XP from disc. Granted, I lost everything but the drivers etc were re installed and finally the webcam up and running. The technika driver isnt compatible with XP home edition drivers... They need to be updated when you re boot from disc.

first of all delete technika webcam,then off a disk or tesco, download the driver [dont plug in webcam yet].when it as downloaded restart your comp.now plug in cam and go to device manager then click on usb devices which should have a yellow question mark on it.click properties and where it says reinstall driver click it and walllaahhh spread the word...

Well im also having the same problem installing this camera on windows Vista i have tried the CD and also tried to download from the Tesco site but still get the same error!!! all i can say is if you want a working camera buy a Logitec and don't pay ten pounds for it :)
