i have a rover 400sdi only got one key with car and have been using it the past to years to lock and unlock replaced battery last week and havent been able to start the car have got the key codes from main dealer but it dosnt work has anybody any ideas on how to bypas immobiliser help please

make sure battery fully charged and jump start at same time as using key in door using 4 digit code it will not work with battery discharged
