the faults i am getting with the car is
the car tries to cut out the car tries to stop
and then sets of again
on dash it shows
as fuel fault and engine management
is this the ecu or can it be something else

vauxhall had a recall for the instrument cluster plug and had various faults caused by this. go to your nearest vauxhall dealer and ask them if there is any outstanding vx care on your car. This will show any recalls that are outsatnding on your car. also ask them about the instrument cluster TSB ( technical service bulletin ) and if this applies to your car. I would try this recall first.

Bad running is result of fault in engine management system hence the warning light.Vehicle needs to be code read to find out and repair fault.Main dealer's will comply(costly)or a well equiped indipendant.
