Briggs & Stratton 35 Classic (mountfield)?

Slight misfire when running, any ideas?
Bill, August 2008
If it's just an occasoinal miss with no load on the engine, don't worry about it. If it misses under load, first change the plug. If no better, the carb will need stripping and cleaning. Last possibility - a flaky ignition coil.

A severe missfire and smoke indicates a leaky carb diaphragm.
