replace tumble dryer belt?

PHILIPS AWB152 tumble dryer . How do I replace the belt
norm, August 2008
First thing you need to do is take the table top off and check to see if the back panel can be removed.

If so then just unscrew all the screws and take the back panel off it'll be quite simple from then on,

when you go to fit the belt put it on the motor first as you would a w/m and stretch it around the drum (I advise you let the new belt soak in hot water for an hour or so this will make it easier to stretch around the drum).

If your motor has two wheels near it the belt needs to go between them groves facing inwards.

Make sure you unplug the t/d and also I would advise you run a screwdriver over the capacitor this is where the main cable goes into as it gives a hell of a shock occasionally.
