Ignition on White Knight Gas Tumble Dryer: how do I make it work?

When I turn the drier on the light comes on and it clicks away trying to ignite and 9 times out of 10 or more if fails and the light goes off. Very occasionally it succeeds. How can I get it to light every time? Many thanks folks.

you must have something affecting the burning of the appliance and the ironising probe is shutting it down make sure the there is nothing in the way of the vents on the bottom of the dryer and it is clean around it to allow air for combustion
You say the ignition is working so it can be solinoids but unlikely if it lights occasionally so or electronic ignition control unit faulty heat sensors or the flame retention device ie Ironising probe or you have clutter around the base of the unit

It may be the solenoid is faulty. We had this problem when our dryer was new and it was replaced under guarantee.
Why not phone Crosslea Customer Service and ask for advice?
