I have a drop down door with a glass panel and the hot air is escaping from the top burning the handle and me! Consequently I am unable to bake cakes etc. due to the escaping heat. Could the door have dropped and what is the solution please?

Check if the door seal is still in good condition all the way round the door.hold the door shut to see.
The hinges on this type of door are spring loaded it sounds as if the door requires new hinges cause the spring tention has reduced.
