No steam Challenger Stean Iron G1028ST?

My Daughter in Laws Challenger Steam Iron G1028St will not produce any steam. What can I do to help?
I do not know to to operate it as she does not have the manual. She has been using it sucessfully for some time until her young daughter used it!

Make sure the knob on the back of the Challenger is turned all the way to the right so that the 3 dots are at the top.
