Problem with my Cobra 7928/26/?

My cobra alarm will alarm itself remotely but won't centrally lock the car, thus having to lock the car manually. Re-synchronising didn't seem to work. the radio keys seem to have enough battery power. Any suggestions please

This is somewhat late to the original post (about three years almost) but for anybody else experiencing the same problem, as I did tonight, check the fuse governing the central locking itself: it may not be a fault with the Cobra alarm, though it may seem so at first glance.
My 1999 Isuzu Trooper started this today and I was all for tearing my few remaining hairs out till it occurred that the alarm was behaving exactly as it should: give the fuse a pull or a tweak anything, it may just be your salvation.

Look for antenna wire coming out of Alarm unit. If it is broken or not rf 'visible' to fobs then the RF element wont work

the problem is more than likely the fob.
you need a replacement.
for those that don't know
to sync the remote. press and hold both buttons at the same time until the fob's red light stops flashing
and then release the buttons.
the light will stay on.
then press the bigger button twice.
