Hi..
I bought Samsung G600 just a few days ago and my mobile also seems to freeze (not necesarily in camera mode). It seems to freeze while navigating through the menu.. :(
I read somewhere on a site that its got to do with poor battery contacts.. here's what it reads, "the problem is a loose battery connection .take the battery out and place a piece of paper (1cm wide and 2 cm long) around the rounded edge of the battery (starting where the S in SAMSUNG is) and refit battery, you may need to try thin card. this will push the battery closer to the phone contacts and so the battery contacts will be more into place.."
Give it a try.. hope this helps :)
