The water is not draining from the drum of the machine after normal washing. The hose is clean and the water drains from the drum if you remove the filter from the front of the machine. Would I be right in thinking it is likely to be a defective pump?

if you can here the motor on the pump or better still take it off its mount and see if you can see the pump blades spinning, but do be carefull not to touch things, then you know its ok, from there if alls ok look for a tube that sits underneath or the side of the drum and clean all the soap init, and try that?
