2001 fiesta coolant cap?

steam is coming past coolant cap when engine gets hot?

its a 1.3 finesse and looking in the haynes manual I am not sure if its the engine that uses the ecu to energise a relay.it isnt the engine where you need to remove a cover over the HT leads to locate the sensor under the leads. It looks like a combination of OLD carb engine with injectors on a rail at the back??weird!! so not sure where the switch would be?

this fiesta doesnt have a fan switch it uses the coolant temp sensor information and the engine ecu energises a relay to put the fan on.

Thats great thanks alot

engine is over heating, first thing to do is check your radiator fan is cutting in.if not its likley to be the radiator fan switch, other that that the thermostat might be faulty.more likley to be the fan swtch though
