Gas/Oil ratio mixture for kawasaki trimmer ?

I have a Kawasaki lawn trimmer (31155NO Motor) and I need to know the proper gas to oil ratio for the fuel mixture?
Ted Butler, August 2008
The ratio is stamped on the gas lid on my trimmer

Consult the recommended dilution ratio on the bottle of two stroke oil you are going to use. Always dilute at that ratio and you won't have any problems.

The engine doesn't have a clue what ratio you are putting in so unless you are using the manufactireres own oil, any ration recommended by the manufacturer can be disreagarded.

Too much oil and it will smoke and oil up, too little and excessive engine wear leading to seizing will occur.

If the oil states 50:1 then dilute it at 50:1 and this will give your engine the correct protection.
