what type of brake pads do i need to purchase for a rover 25 1.4 impression?

it is for the front brakes and they are cylinder

There is no need to take anything off or try to match anything up. (In fact is is bad practice because the lining material can be different from car to car.)

Just go to the dealer and tell them the Make, Model, Year of the car. They will give you the correct ones.

The only absolutly sure way is to remove one pad and take it to your local motor factors.They have a book of full size drawings and can match them exactly.
